Camille Mason, Founder & CEO

As a female minority with a background in technology, I’m deeply passionate about using my skills and experiences to make a meaningful difference in the lives of underrepresented youth. Growing up, I didn’t always have access to the resources and opportunities that many students take for granted today. But through hard work and determination, I was able to carve my path in the tech world, and now, I want to ensure that the next generation, especially those from marginalized communities, has the same opportunities to succeed. Education is the key to breaking barriers, and by providing STEAM training at a young age, I can help equip our youth with the skills they need to be competitive in a technology-driven workforce.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working on high-level IT contracts for various government agencies while being employed by major corporations such as Lockheed Martin and Leidos Inc. These roles allowed me to lead data analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise IT service management initiatives for federal clients, giving me firsthand insight into the importance of representation and opportunity in tech spaces where minorities are often underrepresented. Those experiences not only sharpened my technical skills but also deepened my commitment to creating access and pathways for others to break into this field.

My academic background includes earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Jackson State University and a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas. In addition to my formal education, I hold various industry-recognized IT certifications that have supported my ability to manage complex projects and data-driven solutions throughout my career. These credentials have allowed me to continuously grow and evolve in a rapidly changing industry, while remaining committed to mentoring and opening doors for others.

Given the current climate, where diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts are being threatened, I feel an even stronger sense of urgency to provide these opportunities. We are at a critical point where ensuring access to quality education for all youth—regardless of their background—has never been more important. Through my nonprofit, I aim to inspire, educate, and prepare students for the future by giving them the tools to excel in fields that are traditionally underrepresented by minorities and women. However, there are challenges along the way. I often face limited funding, competing priorities for resources, and the challenge of building strong partnerships within local schools and businesses. Despite these challenges, I am driven by the belief that these students have untapped potential, and it’s my mission to help unlock it.

In addition to youth programming, I’ve expanded our efforts to serve the broader community through initiatives that uplift and support our elderly population. By creating programs designed to engage, educate, and empower seniors, we honor their contributions while ensuring they remain active, connected, and valued within the communities they helped build. Strengthening communities means investing in every generation, and through these ventures, we continue to build bridges between our youth, our elders, and the future we’re all working toward.
